Because of OS crash or annoying malware, when we don’t find the exact solution to eliminate it, we end up with formatting system drive with a new operating system. Yes, that works perfectly. The task of formatting a hard drive can be done in multiple ways. In the late 90s, bootable digital versatile discs (DVDs) were the ultimate solution. All you have to do is insert the disk into your personal computer or laptop and load it as a boot device. And, it will start the process.
But with the tremendous development in digital devices, it has become possible to format/repair your PC even with the USB drive. So many software are available in real-time to create bootable USB drive. This has significantly reduced the requirement of specific bootable CD/DVD with the particular OS.
Among all the software available on the Internet, I have chosen Rufus which works fast and accurately. However, if you don’t want to create a bootable pen drive using such third-party software, I have another easy solution as well. This method works with some commands within the command prompt. Yes, using it you can make bootable USB easily.

Create Bootable USB Pen Drive Using CMD
This is the best method to make a bootable pen drive. You can make it from anywhere anytime. This method is also flexible with all windows operating systems.
Requirements:
- Operating system data
- Pen drive
Search for diskpart.exe and run it as an administrator. Type the following commands in cmd prompt.
- list disk
- select disk 1
- clean
- create partition primary
- select partition 1
- format fs=ntfs quick
